Selvage is Helpifyr's compliance and research preparation module for dossier-oriented entity, document, and evidence workflows.

Current Module Target​

  • Target data platform: OpenAleph
  • Document system of record: jhf-loom on Alfresco CE
  • Search target lane: OpenSearch, gated by compatibility evidence before rollout

Current Delivery Posture​

  • The current public posture is admission-preparation-only.
  • Historical Aleph plus Elasticsearch material in the owning repo remains migration input, not the steady-state target claim.
  • Public docs must not treat OpenSearch compatibility as complete until repo-owned evidence exists.

Ownership Boundary​

  • jhf-selvage owns the compliance, enrichment, and migration-plan truth.
  • jhf-loom owns governed document storage, metadata, and final evidence records.
  • Selvage should integrate with Loom through repo-owned document APIs and admitted contracts, not by direct database or search-index coupling.
