Current Public Compatibility Posture​

  • The intended migration target is OpenAleph with jhf-loom as the document system of record.
  • OpenSearch is a target compatibility lane that still requires repo-owned verification evidence before rollout claims.
  • Historical Elasticsearch-backed Aleph material remains migration input and fallback reference, not proof of the final target architecture.
  • The latest channel reflects current admitted repo truth and still stays fail-closed on production-readiness claims.

Integration Boundary​

  • Loom owns governed stored documents, metadata, and final evidence records.
  • Selvage integration should use admitted document APIs, CMIS, or equivalent repo-owned interfaces exposed by Loom.
  • Direct persistence coupling or direct search coupling between Selvage and Loom is not part of the admitted public compatibility posture.

Verify Path​

  • Review the owning repo migration plan and integration notes before runtime work.
  • Re-run the owning repo verification path before rollout, upgrade, or search-backend changes.
  • Do not claim OpenSearch compatibility as complete until the owner repo publishes evidence for that lane.
